This disc flies like a beat up venom. The rim feels very similar to the venom. The difference is that at about 375 to 400 feet where the venom would fade hard, the Captains Thrasher pushes straighter on a slight hyzer.

This disc is quite versatile, and can be used for a variety of different shot shapes. It provides reliable fade at the end of the flight, and for anyone with a big arm, it would fly very straight. For intermediate players like myself, it could become a workhorse type of disc that you pull out almost every drive! This particular run of ESP plastic feels a little grippier than other runs, so it also is a viable option for colder weather. Great addition to DGA's lineup.

It's cool, if you like throwing cool stuff. If you like a pretty straight 12 speed that bites at the end then buy this disc. After a few direct tree hits mine might even have a hint of turn to it. I like this disc and am curious to see how it plays in my bag, I've had it about 25 rounds and used it quite a bit.

Man this disc is special. I am in love with the versatility! Some how managing to feel nearly identical to a regular Thrasher and be extremeely torque resitant. I threw one for the very first time at sea level. At lower elevation this thing was giving me a bit of flip up and was feeling extremely workable. I live at 4500' and that flip up is gone, however, I think I love it more because it will beat-in to that state of flip to flat workablitliy. I can see a lot of players at lower arm speeds bagging this as their overstable driver, those medium arm guys will get this to be their furtherst flying disc and bigger arms like myself can really put this on a bunch of different lines and cover a lot, and I mean A LOT, of lines.
