Basic Information
| Biography: | I was 35 before I discovered the amazing sport of disc golf. No one should have to wait so long to play this magnificent game. Therefore, I am devoted to growing the sport of disc golf. I am a teacher in the Tahoma School District. In Pre-Covid times I would coach an after school disc golf club to all grade levels K-5th. I can't wait to start this again. I secured funding for the disc golf equipment, for my club, by writing a grant to the EDGE program. I coached the PE teacher at my school how to use all the disc golf equipment and now he teaches disc golf as part of his curriculum. I share my passion for disc golf by proudly wearing my sponsor’s apparel to school before a tournament weekend. My passion for coaching children is eclipsed only by my desire to engage more female athletes. Come on ladies, get out and play! I moved farther north from the Portland area where I felt fortunate to be surrounded by so many world-class courses that kept me humble, tested my skills, and kept me looking forward. Crystal Mountain (in the summer), SeaTac, and White River are probably my favorite courses up here, so far. You can also catch me playing in the weekly random doubles at Gaffney's Grove in Maple Valley. I discovered a new love for playing extreme disc golf. Crystal Mountain has two unbelievable disc golf courses during the summer that test your skill and athletic ability. You could find me on Crystal Mountain hiking up the bottom course or throwing down from the top course the majority of this past summer.
