The Motion is an overastable, long=range distance driver in the MVP line-up and definitely has a pronounced fade. It is great for forehand flicks and big curving skips.

Out of the three mvp- made firebird clones (flare, fireball, motion) this is the least stable and most like an faf firebird in flight. Very stable but not cap rap-like, so it's useful with some beef. Basically just a nose-beadless firebird, so great choice, my fav for this slot.

A wonderful utility disc. This comes out at least once every round and there is no other disc I have that could take its place. I almost exclusively throw right hand forehand and I love bringing this out when I need a hard right turn.

I love the Motion for Thumbers and Tomahawks! It doesn't have the same slow turn as a Full Tilt, but is still controllable when thrown inverted.
When thrown normally, the Motion flies extremely overstable - quickly fighting out of any anhyzer, and quickly getting to the ground.

    170g Neutron MVP Motion

I bought this as a viable substitute for my Infinite Scepter. I really like MVP discs and the Motion is a nice overstable disc with a reliable extreme fade. I personally prefer the scepter as it feels more comfortable to throw and is much better for tomahawks and thumbers.

175g Neutron Motion - I thought this disc would be a firebird replacement before a buddy lent me one. Afterwards, I realized it's more of a captain's raptor/slice sort of Angus Beef woww disc. This disc wants to hit the ground and soon. It's not a tilt, but it's the equivalent of a super FAF overstableeee firebird. I have one in my bag for crazy scramble shots, and the secret magic of this disc: the forehand roller. You throw this disc as hard as you want soooo close to vertical and it will not want to flip over. Give it a little angle and throw it hard and it will just keep going right. If like me you do not have a thumber roller, this disc can absolutely save some strokes.

The Gyro version of the Flick.

Last summer, I started experimenting with a super light flick but I couldn't find any other discs that were similar. Nobody was selling a flick under 155g anywhere. So I took a flier on a lightweight neutron motion and immediately fell in love.

I love it for flicks but I also love it for sneaky backhand anny flex shots which snake through trees. It's light enough for me to make it follow those lines and take a wide pan, and it's overstable enough to come back out of them even without much altitude. The flights of this disc are mesmerizing because it looks like it dances through the trees. My only ace is courtesy of a flex backhand with a neutron motion.

Funny thing though, for as overstable as it is, it's so workable with varying anny angles that I seldom use it as a utility disc and instead opt for a beefier OS disc like a machete for that role. The motion is crazy OS but in a very sleek and nimble way. Think fighter jet executing slalom turns versus a NASCAR car hammering down into turn 3 at Daytona.

Excellent over-stable fairway driver. I haven't thrown much MVP plastic, but I recently started bagging a Tesla and have been loving it, so I figured I'd go with them again when finding a Firebird replacement. Flat-top disc that feels great both BH and FH, but I primarily use it FH as I'm still working on my BH form. I've been really surprised at how well it has stood up to amount of stress I've put on it from hitting trees, buildings, etc. Love how reliable of a skip I'm able to get out of the Motion on FH flicks; it's been a real treat to throw and I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to fill that OS fairway slot. Definitely not a disc for beginners throwing BH, but anyone with a sound FH should be able to make good use out of it.

So this disc is a meathook through and through. It begins to fade right away unless you release it on an anhyzer line. It's a great utility disc for heavy fade shots. I recommend only if you need its specific requirement and absolutely not for new players as it is too overstable.

This disc has a place in my bag for technical shots and massive meat hooks. I'm not going to throw more than 2 times a round but it fills that "spot" when you are in a sticky situation. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that can't get a disc out to 300'.

This disc should not intimidate anybody because the Motion is very useful in almost every situation. Wind is not a factor when you have the Motion because it doesn't cause any turn over. The Motion is a great disc to learn forehands because at first this disc does stay straight and then at the end it fades out quite hard, so any anhyzer release is easily forgiven. The Motion feels more like a fairway driver in your hand than a distance drive so this one allows you to reach distance driver distance with the comfortability of a fairway driver.

This disc does exactly what it's supposed to, not turn over and then fade hard. I bought it as I've been improving my forehand, and wanted something further than a firebird that otherwise does the same things. It will pretty easily come back from anhyzer, and fade hard at the end. Outside of forehands, I could use this for some backhand utility shots, but I don't really have the backhand power for this. Definitely do not get a disc this overstable if you don't have the arm for it.

This is a disc for fancy technical shots, and it's brilliant.

I first tried to use it as a backhand OS distance driver, but that was the wrong choice. It's just not fun to throw that way. Where this disc shines are technical utility shots. Thumbers are cash money with this disc. Flicks and extreme flex shots are also cool. I've also come across places where a massive sky hyzer its wonderful with it as well. It's not a conventional driver but it sure is great to have in the bag.

When I first picked up an MVP Motion, I didn't realize how much I would use it on the course. Now after playing quite a few rounds with it, I love throwing it for easy, dependable fading shots from 350 to 400 feet. At first, I wanted the Motion for my forehand throws because I could not throw more understable discs on a forehand. As my forehands have progressed, this is a great disc for a reliable fade either forehand or backhand. Beware, though, if you do not have the power to get this thing up to speed it will immediately fade after leaving your hand.

Great forehand disc that can't be turned over.  Great for straight shots that you need to dump off at the end.  The motion is great in windy regions of the country where you are looking for consistent shots

This is my favorite fly straight then fade hard at the end disc. its great for coming in late in to tight hard pockets either forehand or backhand if flies how its supposed to as long as the release angle isn't to much off.

The course I play has a lot of 300-350ft holes. I max out at 400ft but this disc drops at 350 for me every shot. This disc is perfect for getting too the hole and stopping. Its become my go to disc for thumbers and anytime I need a reliable fade. I also have tiny hands so the 20mm rim is as big as I can go for backhand.

The Motion is a great disc, the perfect answer to a Firebird type disc for the MVP crowd. It's got a great, shallow grip, a very flat top and a fantastic feel in hand.

It's got the potential for really good distance even though they don't have crazy glide, but they really cut through the air quickly.

It gets out flat and then bites back hard at the end of the flight.

Great for distance utility and a FH workhorse.

THIS DISC EVOLVED MY FLICK GAME! If you are a player who flicks a lot or just needs a disc to flick when needed then this is the disc for you. This disc is so easy to flick. IT WILL NOT ROLL OVER!! You can put your whole arm into the throw and this disc will fly flat and go far! for RHBH it is a very overstable disc as the numbers suggest. very good option if you need a very big fade or just need a disc that is not phased by the wind at all. Its also a good over hand roller disc!

I live at pretty high elevation and it's windy as heck.  Most of my discs are MAX WEIGHT CHANPION PLASTIC for durability.  This disc I got very early on and after a friend borrowed it I got it back 2 years later...  After one round Ovrealized that this dosc was all I needed.  It was on my second round that I got my 3rd basket ace but FIRST backhand ace.  I am 99.9%) RHFH.  Later on I realized this sucker is 157 grams.  It handles ALL WIND. has never turned over on me (so far) 0and is able to do long S's with some ANNI, hyzer flip no problem with a long syraight flight and a dependable FADE always...

Hands down this ONE disc has replaced half my bag...

I had this disc for quite some time and it is very stable. I carried it in my bag as a dependable approach disc because I didn't have the arm to throw this disc properly. I would get a decent flick out of it now and then, which a bad flick is how I lost it.

I liked it when I was just beginning because I knew exactly where it would go and it had a very dependable skip so I could throw it way right around trees or go with dependable hyzer bombs over obstacles and get a great approach.

Sooner or later I'll convince my wife to let me buy more discs and this is the first one I'm grabbing!

The Motion gets a good review from me because it is overstable. MVP has finally been coming out with oppressively overstable plastic, which is something we have not seen from them in a while.

I liked the motion mainly for forehand drives, but it had a nice flight either way. At lower speeds, this disc increases significantly in stability. After my first few throws I would have told you that the Motion wasn't the most overstable disc. I could get a little bit of straightness out of this disc. But the 3rd time I threw it, I took a little power off of it and lost almost all of my distance. If this disc isn't thrown hard, it is going nowhere!!

I think this disc is a good windy disc for anyone that doesn't have enough power for an Ape or Enforcer. At lower arm speeds this is a complete meathook disc.

I took a star off because I am not a fan of overmolds. Unfortunately, I have not found an MVP disc that feels good in my hand yet.

This disc is not a glider or at least for me, but that is what helps makes this disc so accurate. The wind won't pick the disc up and carry it or knock it down. This is quickly becoming my precision disc for RHBH and flicking. One slightly strange thing is I can only get this disc to go 250' which isn't very far compared to my usual throw of 350 with other disc. The motion will be staying in my bag for quite a long time due to its reliability.

Want a Gyro version of the Innova Firebird? this is your ticket!!

The MVP Motion is by far the most OS disc in the MVP line up. For me it has slightly less glide then any of the other Distance Drivers they have, so this makes it very much comparable to a Firebird. A friend of mine swears up and down that the Firebird is the best OS driver, but everytime i throw the Motion side by side to his 11x firebirds, the motion can hold the exact same line and lands just as close to the basket.

If you need a more controllable driver that can handle lots of power, this is the disc! I got an Einstein stamp, blue, 168 grams. Even with the lighter weight, this disc is still very stable. If you loved the Resistor (like me) and want a faster version, this disc does it. This Motion made up for how bad the Tesla was for my game. This disc is very flat and when I throw it sidearm, anhyzer releases will come back to flat or finish right depending on the amount of air. When thrown flat or with hyzer, this disc will skip quite a lot. For thumbers, it starts off left but then tracks to the right. It doesn't go too far, but can be useful for getting over trees and dropping right by the basket. I don't throw backhand with this disc yet because I haven't played in high winds with it yet, but I'm sure it will hold up in the wind. I highly recommend this disc for anyone looking for a great sidearm disc that can handle lots of torque.

Yeah... This disc is Over Stable. After the way the first run Shock's turned out, I didn't think the Motion would be crazy meathook OS, but it is. My primary forehand driver is the Discraft Flick. I struggle flicking anything that doesn't have a flat top and a high degree of overstability.

After throwing the other new MVP drivers, and feeling this one I got really excited, hoping it would be like a longer Flick for me. My 168g Einstein Stamped Motion is more overstable than either of my Flicks. My Flicks are pretty beat in, but either way, this thing is a beast. I have generate a lot of spin with my flick, but the only way I could get any decent distance out of this bad boy was on a major Anhyzer angle.

When I tried throwing the Motion backhand, it started hooking the moment it left my hand. For shots that need a giant fade, this disc is ideal. Also, if you hit a flat piece of ground this disc will skip forever (took me out of bounce a few times on what looked like good throws down the fairway). I don't think the Motion will replace my Flicks, but it could. This is definitely a superb disc for sidearm throws and monster headwinds.

Just played my first round with my new 175g orange Motion. It's an absolute meathook. Super super stable. I'm a power thrower and there's now way I can turn this thing over. Shaped some awesome sidearm 300+ feet flex shots on my local wooded course, however. You won't pull this disc out every throw, but it has a place in your bag. Reminds me of an Innova Monster.
