    Pro Details

Innova Pro Line uses a special blend of plastics that provide unique qualities for each disc model. The different blends of Pro Line plastic produce discs with a wide range of rigidity from extremely soft to firm and stiff.

Pro plastic is more durable than DX, and provides a better grip than Champion Plastic. Discs in pro plastic tend to be slightly more understable than counterparts of the same mold in other premium plastic blends.

Gazelles are the perfect disc to move up to once a beginner has confidence throwing midranges. I have only thrown DX Gazelles and really loved their flight. Fresh they fly like a Teebird with less speed/glide. Being a speed 6 you don't need quite as much power to get a full flight out of them and many beginners would find they will actually fly further than a Teebird for their power levels. Since my local courses are all heavily wooded, my Gazelles would tend to fly differently after a single round of play. I think more people would throw this disc if Innova had more plastic options.

I used this disc as my primary driver for the good portion of my first year playing. It never seemed to be consistent for me even for just starting out. Looking back on it, even though it was only Pro plastic and hit plenty of trees, it was obvious that it had some turn to it compared to other discs I had.

I'd say the cool part about this disc is that it feels like a true midrange/fairway hybrid. it has a nice thin feel and seems to 'cut' through the air. If I were to get it again I would get a heavy weight and Star plastic. That way it would be a reliable finisher for those in between shots.

I can see this disc filling a hole in your bag, just ensure you get a good plastic and the weight that fits your style.
