My go-to putter. I've used the KC Pro Aviar for years and I haven't been able to find anything better. Softer plastics cause me to have grip issues and I find it hard to get a clean release with them, sonI love the stiff KC Pro plastic. I used to use them to throw with, and I occasionally still do, but I now just commit a cardinal disc golf sin by using my putting putters to throw instead of carring an extra KC Aviar or two just to throw with.

This has been in my bag since I started playing 3 years ago. I've used it in pretty much every situation. The kc pro is torque resistant so it's hard to turn over on longer shots, even when it's beat in. Everyone knows what an aviar is for good reason.

It's the disc of champions but its never felt comfortable in mind. It is a fairly deep putter. Putters are all about feel, so if you like a deeper putter this may be for you.

This is the best putting putter ever. Flies slightly overstable, and the KC plastic is very firm and grippy which is perfect for putting. The putter is beaded, which allows a comfortable place for your index finger to rest. Best putter for beginners and pros alike

This is the one. I'm a contrarian and like niche things, so it took me a while to give this commonly used putter a chance. I previously used Innova Bullfrogs since I sucked at putting and live in the windy midwest. They helped me avoid 3-putting, but it turns out they were holding my putting game back. Since switching to KC Pro Aviars and dialing them in, my putting game has improved 2-5 strokes per round. Their stability is great, and the glide feels just right. They're surprisingly wind resistant without being overstable. While I wasn't sure about the plastic feel at first, I've learned through league rounds that this yields more consistent releases. More tacky discs feel good but yield less consistent releases for me.

The best putting putter you will ever get. Great feel in your hand makes for consistent releases. The plastic is hard and durable; I have one that has performed well for almost a year. Beginner friendly.

    175g KC Pro Plastic

This is my go to putting putter. Basically a regular Aviar with an improved plastic that feels great in the hand and lasts forever. As it beats in it just gets better and better. Great in the wind as well. I strongly suggest trying out ones of these. There is a reason many of the pros use these.

I was putting with the Aviar Classic but wasn't a fan of the flat top and shallow rim. I picked up a KC Aviar and it sat perfectly in my hand, immediately it became my putter. I bought 8 of them and never looked back.

Spin putters and push putters alike will love this disc. Don't bother looking at Colt or a Dart for your putting putterKey words being PUTTING PUTTER. This is your straight and true putter. I have four I take out to the course every time to use for warm ups. Three that are moderately beat in that I will dig in to for those off-the-tee putter shots, and one I throw around every once in a while to soften the edges, but that is my main for anything inside Circle 1 (0-33ft from basket)

This IS the best selling putter for a reason. The deal with the KC plastic is it's firmer, so it will last longer, and it breaks in more elegantly. You won't get huge chunks out of the rim off one tree hit.

My favorite putter ever. If you like a stiff putter with a bead, look no further. Once these things break in a little bit, the feel is so perfect and it will become a putter that you won't want to give up. I used my first one until it cracked in half, then I got three more after testing out a bunch of different putters that just never felt quite right.

I got this disc to use as my go-to putter. I used it for a while but I recently switched away from it. This disc is a great disc but I didn't like the feel of it. It always felt clunky in my hands. It is a stiff and wide rimmed putter. I liked the grip of it but I was too big for my hands and I kept getting wobbly releases. If you have smaller hands I recommend trying a different disc.

This disc holds up well in the wind. It also rarely spits out. I also feel like the disc only feels better over time. If you want a big beaded putter I think this disc is a good option. A disc that I think is a bit better than this is the PA3 from Prodigy. Its a similar height but its more comfortable in my hands and a bit flatter on top.

    KC Pro Aviar 175g:

After switching between Wizards, Judges and all kinds of Aviars when I was starting out I finally ended up settling on the KC Pro Aviar as my go-to putter. I currently keep 4 in my bag for throwing and putting...this disc will flip up and fade left out of the box, and then finish farther and farther right as it breaks in. I like the firm KC Pro plastic as opposed the gummier JK's (I think my brain just associates firmness with reliability and that helps me when putting, just a personal preference) and prefer a putter with a bead, so the KC Pro Aviars are the ones for me!

    175g KC Pro

I have switched between beaded and beadless putters constantly and I'd have to say this is by far my favorite beaded putter. It flies pretty straight for me as has the firmness and grip I like in my putters. I really like this putter for off the tee shots since mine goes so straight. It is also great for me on approach shots of anything 120-160ft. I really like it for approach shots as the plastic just seems to catch the grass better than other putters that I have tried. I highly recommend this putter for anyone who prefers beaded putters as it is my favorite so far that I've tested.

I use several different Innova beaded putters. I have found the KC to be a favorite in low humidity and/or high heat. Otherwise the KC plastic tends to be a little slippery to me, almost crayon like. I don't know if that is a red KC trait or not for my red KC Roc feels the same. So, I don't use it year round up here in VT but, It has a seasonal time when I really like the grip.

I love my KC Pro Aviars and with being a pitch/shovel/push putter where I don't bend my elbow much on my putts, this disc has the stiffness and glide I'm looking for when I need my putts to carry. I prefer a beaded putter and the added fade compared to the standard Aviar is great for longer putts when you can start the disc more anhyzer or for your approach shots. I would recommend carrying a few versions of this disc at different stages of wear, that can really help you have a variety of shots but with the same disc. Off the tee or approaches, I like the KC Pro plastic's ability to grab the grass and stick and with that added fade I know it can handle a little more power on the shot.

The KC Pro Aviar is a great putter for multiple different purposes. It is a more rigid, stiff plastic than DX plastic. The KC Aviar also has a bead, so if you like the regular Aviar and also like a bead, this will be a great putter for you. The KC Aviar is also more stable than the Aviar putt and approach mold. I have used the KC Aviar for putting but I prefer the putt and approach mold because it's not as stable. The job that I really like to use the KC Aviar for is for putter drives off the tee. Because of its stability, it is harder to turn over from power alone. If released on the right angles though, it will hyzer, fly straight, or hold a turn over. Overall a great disc.

Awesome putter for players who prefer the beaded rim.

The KC plastic is slick and durable, players with sticky fingers will especially like it for it's smooth release. It's very stable and can hold up to quite a bit of power, even when thrown off the tee. Great for spin putts.

    Disc: 175g KC Aviar

The KC Aviar is a great choice for both throwing and putting. It's a medium-depth putter with a noticeable bead. The plastic is firm, which can be a downside for grip in colder temperatures (which is why I eventually switched away from them).

The KC Aviar is torque-resistant enough to be thrown with full-power, making it a viable option off the tee. I liked to use it for straight or hyzer shots within 300 ft. When thrown on hyzer, it mostly holds that hyzer for the duration of the flight. When thrown flat and hard, the KC Aviar will fly dead straight with almost no turn or fade. Once they’re beat in a little, you can use them to hold just about any line, making them great for wooded courses and tight lines.

I putt with 175g pink KC Pro Aviars. They are my main putter, which explains why they are a 5 star disc for me, but I'll explain more.

Mainly, I just love the fee of this disc. I used to putt with regular P&A Aviars and liked how they flew. However, I never liked how the grip of them felt in my hand. One day, my friend who putts with Judges let me feel his judge and I realized a beaded putter is what may be the answer to my grip issues. So, when choosing what putter to try I looked at a ton of beaded putters and decided to go with KC Avairs since i already knew I liked the flight of an Aviar. The bead is bigger than that on a judge but I think that's even better. This putter feels like it was molded for my hand. That's why I love it so much.

My putt is a mainly a push putt, but I do put some respectable spin on it. I think these are tremendous putters for push putting, so if you push putt definitely give it a try. My one criticism is I don't think it flies that well for a true spin putt, so when I need to spin one I use a banger GT because I spin those well.

All in all, this is a great putter.

The KC Pro Aviar is simply a firmer, slicker version of the DX plastic. This makes for a consistent grip on the disc and allows for a clean release every time.

This aviar features a large bead on the rim. While not generally a fan of beads on putting putters, I have used this for long runs at the basket and up shots <250'. It's got a great mix of glide, stability, and gentle fade.

You simply cannot go wrong with this disc (unless you don't like beaded putters!)

This was the disc I started using when I began to really develop a good putt. They aren't very glidey when pith putting and drop real nice and predicatble. This to me is what makes a good pitch putting putter. They aren't very durable and the bead will wear down so plan on cycling these things out of the bag and use as practice putters pretty regularly if you use them. In the winter, they get very stiff and brittle and I have been using JK pro aviars instead for the winter for that reason. My favorite putter are the KC pros for sure.

I bought 4 putters to try to find a perfect fit for me, I got the DX Aviar, the G Star Aviar, the R-Pro Pig, and I tried a Dart, a Nova, a Star Aviar.  None of these worked for my putting style.  I had heard good things about the KC Pro Aviar So I decided to try it out. As soon as I got it, I could consistently make 15 footers(yes that was a problem before I got this)  I bought another one for practice, and now I can consistently make 20-25 foot putts.  The bead on this disc feels great in the hand, and the very firm plastic feel perfect and makes me confident.  My only issue is that they seem to get scratched and dented really quickly, after just a couple days it looked like one of my old DX discs.  This isn't too bad of a problem though, if I have to buy more, it's fine, worth it for this awesome putter.

The KC Pro Aviar is just about perfect for me, as my putting style is a nose-down, slam into the chains style. Transitioning from a dart to this, I could definitely notice the lower glide, and in a good way. This putter just drops into the basket and doesn't pop up or slam down to easily, which was my ain problem with the dart. This putter also goes dead straight when putting despite the said 2 fade. I bought this first from a physical store and when I felt it it gave me instant confidence. I bought another from here because it worked perfect for me. I can see why this is a choice of many pros for putting. As for throwing, the 2 fade is still not very noticeable, as it mostly goes dead straight with a slight finish to the left when thrown at about 75% power. I don't use this a lot for throwing because I use a pig on open upshots as well as when I need a hyzer backhand or forehand and I usually use the mako3 for straight shots in the woods.

I bought this with the purpose of it being my main putting putter. While I think it could be that, I found that I preferred the Judge for that but loved this as my driving putter for straight wooded shots! It doesn't turn over very easily and with the right throw and wind my 390 average arm can get this to go 300 feet. I don't see it losing it's place in my bag anytime soon.

This is a very popular putter and for good reason. It offers some added stability and durability to the Aviar mold. This has a nice sized bead on the disc that gives in that added stability. This putter will have some healthy fade when thrown or putted. As you break the disc in, it will lose some of that fade, but retain stability. The plastic is also a bit harder, and to me, slicker. Some really like this, but I like a little bit more grip in my putter. A great disc, as the 12x champ has his name on it.

The KC Pro Aviar is a very firm, overstable, beaded putter. When thrown it flies on a nice straight line before fighting to the ground with decent fade. The large bead along the bottom ensure the stability of the disc will last a long time, but personally I find the bead to infringe my grip. Being a naturally deep putter already the bead really detaches my fingers from the flight plate. It is of course advertised as a beaded putter so if you prefer the feel of a bead I'd highly recommend this disc. As a putting putter the KC Pro Aviar is better for someone with a hyzer putt or a more force over anhyzer putt because of its stability. The KC Pro Aviar can be a bit too slick in colder weather, but really opens up when it's +70 degrees outside. If you like hard, destructible plastics for your putter this is a perfect fit. The KC Pro Aviar will hold it's shape for years because it's so hard and durable, however you should be warned that these are known to break in colder temperatures. One solid tree hit in 40 degrees or lower could spell the end for your KC Pro Aviar.

Can use it for all different types of approach shots (just don't use your main putter for all of that, best to keep that one nice and clean and only for putting).

I had just started playing disc golf and I was looking for my first putter. I got a light purple KC Pro Aviar from our local store because I had read about how many championships the Aviar had won. I have not been disappointed. When I started playing disc golf, my putting was AWFUL. Now, my friends all talk about how much my short game has improved. I even got lucky and hit a shot about 100 ft out with it. Great first putter. Love my Aviar.

Profile: This has a great rim depth for my hand and is a beaded putter.

Flight: Slightly stable throwing putter, holds a decent line but the plastic will beat in quickly if you are using this as a throwing putter.

Putting: If you are looking for a stable putting putter, especially for spin putting, then you need to try this disc.  Perfect for that role.  If you are a splush putter who really pops his wrist this could also fit your putting needs.

Final thoughts: I like this disc for what it does, I just don't have a putting style that maximizes this type of putter.

The KC Pro Aviar has been a nice addition to my bag.  I picked a used one up and found it to be as advertised: Straight with a consistent fade.  I have found uses for it as both a long-range putter and approach disc.  I definitely appreciate being able to dump some power into it, both forehand and backhand and experience a consistent level flight.

My other (minor) issue with the KC Pro is the grip, especially during cold Ohio winters.  The nice, almost chalky feel KC Pros have during warmer weather essentially disappeared for me during the winter, leading to a lot of slipping throws.  I am now beginning to understand why some players keep winter and summer putters.  So the KC Pro has a home for me during the warm months, but I may need to investigate some high grip putters for the cold months.

I picked up 3 of these because so many pros use them, I figured they must be great discs. For the most part, the KC Aviar is great. I carry a KC Pro and an Aviar P&A in my bag. I use the KC Pro for most putting duties as it holds a nice straight line on short to medium putts and sticks to the chains well. I also use the KC for drives and approaches, which I think is where this disc really shines. It's stability allows it to hold a long straight line with a bit of fade at the end (the '2' fade rating is accurate). KC will hold a long hyzer or anhyzer as well. My only beef with the KC is that it doesn't seem to glide as far as the P&A on long putts. I will use the P&A for putts over 40'. Overall a great putter. I haven't found a putter that is as useful as the KC Pro Aviar.
