- One Cache Valley Disc Golf T-Shirt (new design)
- and another smaller item or two
Plus, the top am players (Recreational, Intermediate, and Advanced Divisions) will receive payout in Infinite Bucks, redeemable at Infinite Discs.
The Open division will play for Cash only and will not receive a players pack. The top 40% will be paid out.
Rules:
Each course must be played on tournament day. You may start as early as you like and must finish before dark. Courses can be played in any order that you choose. Just start early enough to finish by dark.
Ams can play in groups of 2-5. Open players must play in groups of 3-5. At least one person on your card must keep your score on the Infinite Discs app. The tournament will be available for scoring on the app so that the entire tournament will be recorded in real time. You can check how other players are doing throughout the day.
You cannot play courses more than once, and you also cannot play practice holes at the courses the day of.
Make sure to watch for pedestrians at these courses. Many of them are in city parks where people may be walking or playing. Be courteous of everybody and have a great day!
There will be no players meeting or gathering at all, this is a unique event that you play at your own pace. Rules and maps for each course will be posted online and at each course. The rules will be kept as simple as possible.
Updates to this tournament will be reflected here and on the Cache Valley Disc Golf Facebook Group.
Update 10/2/18: The Fairgrounds has notified us that the course will not be in at the time of this tournament. We are in contact with Ridgeline High School about their soon-to-be new course. They have the baskets, we're learning about when they will be installed. Trying hard to get this new course into play for this tournament to replace the fairgrounds.
Tee signs have been made for Elk Ridge and Smithfield Courses, we are simply waiting for the cities/scout projects to install them. Pressuring them to get them done before the tournament. If not, the map will be available and I will flag out the tee pads.
Thanks everyone!
