I had never heard of this disc, but I recently received a Reaper in a mystery box. It is in the CryZtal plastic and has a VERY noticeable puddle top which surprisingly feels fantastic, especially for FH. The flight numbers are quite misleading in my opinion. I was expecting it to fly like my Firebirds, but it is more comparable to a Thunderbird and has now replaced the Thunderbirds in my bag. It goes straight for me with a dependable finish at the end for both FH and BH.

I have this in esp with the crossed out info on inside of rim, gives you a texture that helps with grip. bought used and have used for over a year and can safely say this is a fantastic disc you can trust with any angle. new runs might be much more stable but this disc has been a staple in my bag for an overstable fairway.

For beginners this disc will fly straight and have a dependable heavy fade at the end. you won't get massive distance out of it probably 250 range but to more advanced players its a great woods disc and excellent for shot shaping. it's slow enough to minimize tree skips but stable enough to throw some very angled flex shots. my biggest complaint and this may just be me personally its very uncomfortable to grip forehand.

The Big Z Reaper is not quite as overstable as anticipated. Although it was warned against being confused with an Undertaker, they are actually pretty similar. The flight characteristics between the Reaper and the Undertaker are about identical with the Reaper just having a slight bit more fade at the end...ever so slight. Thumbers pan slowly with a minimal end to the right of where you aim. I was waffling between 3 or 4 stars for the Big Z Reaper. 3 stars because it wasn't quite what I expected, but 4 stars because it is a good disc.

The Reaper is a very solid shallow rimmed fairway driver, similar in many ways to a Banshee. It has decent turn resistance, and a dependable fade even at pretty high power.

When it beats in, it gains distance and glide which is something the Banshee doesn't really do. Also it gains some turn and the fade loses some of it's bite, making it more similar to an Escape or Valkyrie.

I like it, but because of the scarcity and lack of a regular Z run, I'm not bagging it.

Would be a good driver for someone who only wanted to carry one driver.

The thing I like most about this disc is the stamp honestly. I would say the test flight version of this disc is way less stable than the original production. I have had this disc turn over in a light headwind, where something like a banshee or eagle would have no problem coming back. The rim feels very shallow for an 8 speed disc, and is well suited for players with smaller hands. I'd say it's an alright disc, but I don't bag it anymore.
