Focus Friday

Another week has come and gone, and this Focus Friday is all about the Yikun Twin Swords.

This is a overmold 12 speed distance driver. The disc’s rim is pretty comparable to other 12 speeds, resulting in a comfortable grip. This is a stable disc, making it fairly easy to throw and get some good distance. It has a pretty straight flight path with a little curve out before it’ll fade out.

Once again, we’re making another stamp available for you to make the Focus Friday all that much more interesting! Check out this stamp, the Chinese Warrior, adding it to our Infinite Discs Warrior collection. Use the promo code FOCUSTWINSWORDS to get 20% off this weekend.

You can select your disc by clicking here. Simply add as may Twin Swords discs to your shopping cart as you want, then BEFORE you click to checkout, look below the shopping cart. Right below the shopping cart is a box for Discount Codes. Click there and paste the code into the box. Then proceed to checkout and you’ll get the discount.

Here is a screenshot to help you out, though it doesn’t necessarily show a Twin Swords in the cart, or the 20% discount– it’s just a generic visual to help you find the discount code box:

We hope that you love throwing the Twin Swords by Yikun. If you’ve thrown the disc, feel free to share what you think of this distance driver. Thanks!

STAY TUNED for our next Focus Friday for another chance to try a featured disc at a nice discounted price!

Focus Friday Tresspass

Happy Friday, its time for another Focus Friday. This week, we’ll focus on the Dynamic Discs Trespass.

This is a high speed overstable distance driver. This disc is fairly consistent with its flight path, exhibiting a slight curvy line. Throwing it in a tailwind the disc is reliable enough to maintain the same flight path. Throwing it in a headwind the Trespass will handle it just like most overstable discs. All the while giving you that same slight curvy flight path.

We’re making another awesome stamp available for this Focus Friday. You can pick up the VIP Stamped Trespass, only 800 were made. So keep an eye on it, as they’re being added today. Head on over to InfiniteDiscs.com/Dynamic-Discs-Trespass to select your trespass. Once everything you want is in your cart, you can apply the discount code FOCUSTRESPASS and get 10% off all Trespasses in the cart.

Note: After placing your discs in the shopping cart and before checking out, click on the “Discount Code” box under the shopping cart and enter that code. Then proceed to checkout.

Focus Friday – M Model US

Another week has come and gone, and now, it is time for Focus Friday. This week’s focus will be on a fairly new release; Prodigy’s M Model US.

This is quite the versatile midrange. Prodigy designed this disc and plastic to perform well and be beginner friendly all the while providing a disc that an advanced player can throw and enjoy. It is a stable-understable midrange, resulting in a fairly straight flight path. Which makes this disc fairly easy to put on any line that you want: straight, hyzer, or anhyzer. Now is a great time to buy and try out this midrange, as you can apply the promo code, FOCUSMMODELUS, and get the M Model US at 20% off the regular price.

Coming to our inventory will be a few special M Model US. These won’t have the stock stamp that we’ve all seen. But, we are working on putting a Skullboy Marauder stamp on these, just to make this Focus Friday all that better. Keep an eye on them as they’ll be added soon.

You can select your disc by clicking here. Simply add as may M Model US discs to your shopping cart as you want, then BEFORE you click to checkout, look below the shopping cart. Right below the shopping cart is a box for Discount Codes. Click there and paste the code into the box. Then proceed to checkout and you’ll get the discount.

Here is a screenshot to help you out, though it doesn’t necessarily show a M Model US in the cart, or the 20% discount– it’s just a generic visual to help you find the discount code box:

We hope that you love throwing the M Model US by Prodigy. If you’ve thrown the disc, feel free to share what you think of this new midrange. Thanks!

Focus Friday – Scarab

This week’s Focus Friday is for the Infinite Discs Scarab. It is a beaded putter with a shallow rim and a decent amount of glide.

If you have yet to throw this disc, now is a great time to try it out. From now until the end of Monday, you can buy it with 20% off by using the promo code: FOCUSSCARAB.

What I have enjoyed about the scarab is its versatility. Spin, push, and turbo putting with this is easy. Driving with this disc is really consistent as well. I have found that the product description is pretty dead on for this disc:

The Scarab is a beaded putter that has a similar rim configuration to the Infinite Discs Myth, but with a different flight plate that provides a longer glide for longer putts and approaches. If you love throwing putters for distance, or you’re seeking pinpoint accuracy with your putting game, the Scarab will earn a spot in your disc bag.

We initially designed this disc for Joel Freeman who then named it the Scarab. You can get his signature Scarab here . Also, if you want to learn more about him, watch the video below.

Head on over to our site and pick one up this weekend. Use the discount code FOCUSSCARAB and you’ll get 20% off. It’s a great time to buy this disc.

Note: After placing your discs in the shopping cart and before checking out, click on the “Discount Code” box under the shopping cart and enter that code. Then proceed to checkout.

What are your thoughts on the Infinite Discs Scarab?

Focus Friday – Harp

Focus Friday is back! We are starting it off with the Westside Harp. That means over the weekend, you can buy this disc at InfiniteDiscs.com at a 10% discount!

The Harp is a very overstable approach putter. I’ve had great success flicking it, using it on hyzer throws, and for straight approaches. It is a trusty putt-and-approach disc that can handle some power. I’ve been throwing the Harp in BT Hard plastic which has some good grip to it and it can handle some tree hits and rough landings on rocks. Despite all the collisions I’ve put it through, I haven’t noticed much of a loss in the BT Hard Harp’s stability.

Here is a look at a few of my throws with the Harp, trying it out both forehand and backhand at different angles. This helps illustrate the difference between my old, beat-in Harp and a brand new one.

Head on over to our site and pick one up this weekend. Use the discount code FOCUSHARP and you’ll get 10% off. It’s a great time to restock or try out the disc.

Note: After placing your discs in the shopping cart and before checking out, click on the “Discount Code” box under the shopping cart and enter that code. Then proceed to checkout.

Focus Friday – Innova Foxbat

We’re excited to continue our Focus Friday blog where we take a day of the week to look at specific discs. We may not get a focus put together every week, but we’ll try to keep some fresh discs in the spotlight on a somewhat regular basis.

Our New Focus Friday Features the FOXBAT by Innova

The FOXBAT is a classic mid-range disc by Innova which has kind of lost its original place in the spotlight to other straight-flying mids in the Innova lineup like the Stingray or Mako3. However, it held onto a faithful following of players who love it for it’s ability to handle touchy, precision shots. If you have low arm speed and just need an understable disc that will fly straight for a couple hundred feet, then the Foxbat is an excellent choice. Or, if you’re an experienced player who needs an approach disc for easy placement or for anhyzer flights, it can fill that spot in your bag.

But why would we choose to focus on this older disc model? Word on the street is that the classic Star Foxbat is planned for removal from the Innova stock lineup. It has been moved to their Factory Store as an out-of-production mold. So, we grabbed a bunch from the Innova warehouse and had some of our old, humorous “Beware the Foxbat” graphic stamped onto them. Some of the last Foxbats on the market have our fun stamp that looks like your pet dog with wings. Stock up while you can and collect this really fun mid-range disc. You’ll find it a useful tool in your game for years to come.

  • Speed: 5.0
  • Glide: 6.0
  • Turn: -1.0
  • Fade: 0.0

CHECK OUT THIS STRAIGHT FLIGHT…

This week (until Saturday the 21st of December) you can get your hands on the STAR FOXBAT with a great discount of 20% OFF! Simply add the FOXBAT to your cart, then before clicking to “Checkout,” look below your shopping cart for the Discount Code box and enter this code:

Focus Friday – The C-Blend Tomb

We’re going to start taking the opportunity to focus on specific discs in specific plastic types on Fridays and call them “FOCUS FRIDAY” blogs. We may not get every week, but we’ll try to keep some fresh discs in the spotlight on a somewhat regular basis.

Our first Focus Friday feature will be on the C-Blend TOMB.

The TOMB has risen in the ranks of Infinite Disc brand best-sellers as it has garnered attention as a superb approach disc. We’ve found that more players, particularly among the Team Infinite roster, use the Tomb to drive or approach the basket in lieu of a traditional mid-range disc. That has appeared to be a trend in disc golf where smaller diameter, putter-sized discs are used instead of the larger diameter mid-range discs (think of the Discraft Zone, Westside Harp, Hyzerbomb Mortar, Innova Pig, etc.). The Tomb has joined those ranks for straight, precision approach shots. It flies surprisingly straight with minimal fade and with it’s low profile and flat top, it feels comfortable for longer throws.

The C-Blend (comparable to Innova Champion plastic) is a more durable plastic that fits perfectly into that role, able to take some abuse and keep its flight characteristics for the long-term. While we have seen it used for putting, the plastic’s texture lends itself even better to mid-range use.

Here is an old review video for the TOMB in general, so you can see it in action:

Give the C-Blend Tomb a try as a straight-flying mid-range option, especially when you need to thread the needle on tight fairways. We think you’ll love it!
